Healthy Horizons Pediatrics, Lafayette, is searching for a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our team of pediatricians and pediatric nurse practitioners. The PNP will provide comprehensive, high-quality, compassionate care to infants, children, and adolescents through direct medical care in collaboration with the physician.
The PNP will:
Provide primary healthcare to pediatric patients
Provide medical assessment, treatment, education, health promotion, and prevention to individuals and their families.
Practice independently and collaboratively with physicians, providing comprehensive healthcare for healthy and sick children.
This can be a part-time or full-time position with 9 am -5 pm office hours and a full day off during the week.
The position is outpatient, with an average patient load of 25 patients/day.
The Physician Collaborator is readily available and very supportive.
Certifications/licensure requirements:
Current and valid unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse
Certificate to practice as a Nurse Practitioner
Pediatric board certification is required
Compensation:
Negotiable salary or hourly pay based on clinical experience
