**We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our Distribution team in Phillipsburg, New Jersey!**

**As the Warehouse Manager, you will lead the distribution center warehouse personnel by creating a superior experience and a culture of employee engagement, managing all activities related to incoming freight, stocking, pulling, packing and shipping freight.**

**What youll do in this role:**

* **Establish strategic direction for warehousing activities of the organization.**

* **Develop and implement operational procedures for and monitor activities, such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.**

* **Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with other activities, such as production, sales, records control, and purchasing.**

* **Review and monitor department reports, records, and documentation and determine necessary changes for overall department improvement and efficiency.**

* **Direct salvage of damaged or used material.**

* **Provide department budget recommendations and establish controls to assure optimum deployment of resources within the approved budget.**

* **Assure products, parts, or supplies are shipped, distributed, or received in an efficient manner.**

* **Evaluate physical condition of warehouse and equipment and prepare work order for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment.**

* **Manage the daily operation and service level of the DC Stockroom.**

* **Balance productivity levels with payroll to keep salary percentage to sales at a profitable level.**

* **Promote a team atmosphere through employee involvement, training and regular communication with employees.**

* **Partner with HR in the areas of hiring, development, coaching and promotional opportunities.**

* **Ensure appropriate standards are met as relates to employee coaching, discipline documentation, and terminations.**

* **Create a culture of safety by ensuring required training is completed and employees understand their responsibility for behaving in a safe manner. Enforce safety rules and investigate every accident for the root cause.**

* **Administer company policies and procedures regarding employee performance, attendance, safety, training and other matters consistently and fairly.**

**What youll need to be successful:**

* **Bachelors degree. (Supply Chain or business related field strongly preferred)**

* **Experience working with MRP systems, work order, and/or warehouse management systems.**

* **SAP experience is preferred, but not required.**

* **Minimum 5 years' experience working in a distribution center environment.**

* **Strong attention to details, highly organized, computer skills.**

* **A passion for working in a fast-paced environment.**
