Hotel General Manager

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our full service hotel. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily hotel operations at a high level to ensure outstanding guest service and ensure a great working environment for our staff. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Duties:Manage and lead a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operationsCoordinate and execute hotel, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, banquet, and catering departments to meet customer expectationsConduct monthly department head meetings to ensure good communications and motivationOversee all aspects of food & beverage service management, including menu planning, food handling, and food productionMaintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the establishmentMonitor inventory levels and order supplies as neededDevelop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitabilityConduct interviews and hire qualified staff membersTrain employees on company policies, procedures, and safety protocols and assist with employee tasks as needed.Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional mannerEnsure compliance with all health and safety regulationsSkills:Strong team management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire employeesUnderstanding of P&L, revenue management, etc. to ensure all departments are profitable and make adjustments as required.Experience in hotel, banquet, catering, bartending, or restaurant managementExcellent interviewing skills to identify top talent for the teamExceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environmentStrong problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges promptlyExcellent communication skills to interact with customers, staff members, and vendorsWork well in high pressure stressful situationAt least 3 years previous experience as GM or AGM in the Hotel or Hospitality industry required.
