Facilities & Maintenance Technician

  • Conduct repair and maintenance on various semiconductor tools.
  • Support requests from Health, Safety and Environment
  • Perform maintenance for factory equipment in a semiconductor EPI facility located in Allen, TX
  • Perform maintenance and repair of semiconductor EPI reactors and all support equipment.
  • Assist equipment/process engineers in troubleshooting down equipment.
  • Complete preventative/predictive maintenance in a timely manner.
  • Assist facilities group with building repairs when needed.
  • Installation and relocation of production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and breakdowns to identify and implement corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with HVAC, PCW, Boiler, and Air handler systems.
  • Works with or assists trades contractors to complete projects or complex repairs.
  • Complete a variety of tasks related to maintenance of machinery, including plumbing, pneumatic and electrical including low-voltage and line voltage electrical systems.
  • Understand and follow electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals to assist in recovery of down equipment.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education:
Associate degree, two year technical/trade degree, or equivalent preferred

Work Schedule:

Compressed shift 12 hrs

3 days on 4 days off/4 days on 3 days off

Experience:
Five + years of experience
Proficient in MS Office
Analytical skills
Strong communication skills
High attention to detail
