Job Description

Advocate for the inclusion and accessibility of students with disabilities within the school environment.
Provide individualized occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs in a school setting.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to address students' goals and objectives.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention plans as needed to promote skill development and independence.
Provide direct intervention and consultation services to support students' participation and engagement in classroom activities.
Stay informed about current research and best practices in occupational therapy to inform practice and improve outcomes for students.
Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and challenges related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.

Requirements

Availability for onsite service provision.
Possession of a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Georgia.
Demonstrated experience in occupational therapy, particularly with children of varying abilities.
