Job Details

Hire Resolve's client, a well-established Architecture firm in Lexington, KY, is actively looking for a motivated Junior Architect to join their team. They specialize in pioneering the design of cutting-edge, high-performance facilities globally, with a primary focus on crafting secure, mission-driven spaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to lead and direct architecture projects, guiding team members.
  • Acts as the client-facing representative of the architecture department and engages in business development activities.
  • Presents ideas to clients through drawings, renderings, and exhibits.
  • Coordinates with internal and external architects, as well as engineering disciplines and project managers to ensureproject scope is met.
  • Supports project managers and department leadership by managing design scope modifications and project costs.
  • Ensures design constructability and coordination with other disciplines for successful construction projects.
  • Takes on the role of Responsible Architect of Record for some or all department project deliverables, with limits of responsibility determined with senior leadership.
  • Builds trusted relationships within the department, takes ownership of assigned work, and delivers efficient and high-quality results.
  • Actively seeks opportunities for learning and growth, maintains professionalism, and collaborates effectively with team members.
  • Recognizes personal technical limitations and seeks support when needed, while still leading the project.
  • Receives guidance from senior staff and provides direction to less experienced team members.
  • Adheres to data privacy, information security, and policy compliance standards.

Requirements
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited school
  • 5 plus years (Positions are awarded based on staff competency, years of experience listed for reference only.)
  • NCARB & Active pursuit of LEED AP BD+C certification preferred
  • Architecture License
  • Ability to obtain security clearance, Willingness to travel
  • Great attitude and team player.
  • Successful completion of drug and background screening process.
