Description

Responsible for receiving purchased materials, picking and kitting materials for jobs, identifying and storing materials in inventory, and maintaining accurate counts of materials in inventory.

Responsibilities

Prepare job kits as required for production jobs in accordance with production documentation and company procedures
Alert purchasing of shortages, overages, or discrepancies of inventory counts to computerized inventory levels
Compare received materials to materials ordered and notify purchasing of discrepancies
Identify and store received materials in the inventory area in accordance with company procedures
Maintain an updated computerized inventory of all parts received, picked, or returned to inventory in accordance with company procedures
Notify management of product defects
Manage one's own workload for maximum efficiency
Adhere to all ISO requirements related to the area
Perform other duties reasonably related to the position as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
20/20 vision with correction
Able to lift 25 to 40 pounds for 30 seconds at a time, 8-10 times per day
Walking and standing 70% of the day
