Call Center Specialist

Acts as a liaison between sales representatives and the customers. They make and receive calls to and from customers to set up appointments for them to see sales representatives. This role includes familiarizing with essential details of our products and services, calling prospective clients using a list of numbers provided, accepting calls from prospective clients as they arise, and fielding basic questions and concerns about the products and services offered.

Call Center Specialist Essential Duties, Functions, and Core Accountabilities:

  • Schedules meetings between prospective clients and sales representatives
  • Keeps a detailed log of calls including those that are not answered
  • Attempts to contact prospective clients whom they have been unable to contact
  • Inform the manager of recurrent product related complaints that warrant addressing.
  • Accurately document all communication in CRM
  • Attend sales team meetings and training sessions as directed by management.
  • Follow up with leads converting them to Appointments
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues
  • Identify sales opportunities and upsell products or services to customers
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions
  • Follow company scripts and guidelines for effective communication
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve team goals
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements

Call Center Specialist Requirements, Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and computer skills, have outstanding listening and attention to detail, excellent phone etiquette, professional and courteous disposition, and be persuasive and results-oriented.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of company and partner information
  • Experience in cold calling, cold messaging, or cold emailing
  • Have basic entrepreneurial traits, including high-level logical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Extremely professional on the phone and via text. Fast and accurate typer. Can spell very well and learn "our brand and voice" quickly.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to excel at details, multi-tasking, and working under pressure
  • Must be able to pass a background, credit check, and drug screen
  • Previous experience in a call center or customer service role preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software applications
  • Sales experience is a plus


Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment or travels via vehicle
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to ambulate, sit, and/or stand in various intervals throughout the work shift
  • May occasionally lift and or carry up to 20 lbs.
  • Use of computer, phone, copier, and other office equipment in the course of a day
  • While performing the duties of this job, occasionally required to use hand to handle, touch and use tools, reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, twist, lift, reach, push, pull, grasp, balance, talk, hear, and ambulate during the course of employment
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and an ability to adjust focus
  • Employee may be required to travel for business purposes
