Job Description

The Marketing and Communications team at Stamford Health is looking for a junior or senior college design student. Do you want to work on meaningful and impactful projects that make a difference in the community? Are you interested in learning more about the health care industry and how design impacts how we communicate to patients, while continuing to grow your skills and gain the tools necessary to succeed in the workforce? If this sounds exciting, then this internship may be a great fit for you!

Responsibilities

Create patient-facing materials, contribute graphics to our social media channels, work and collaborate with other members of the Marketing and Communications team on various projects.

Qualifications

Paid internship would be 15-25 hours per week and this role would report into our senior graphic designer. We are seeking a student with:

  • Experience in the Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Knowledge of latest design trends on social media.
  • Assist with organizing our photo and video library; and also may help out with capturing photos of various events internally and externally.
  • Animation skills are an added bonus.

  • Own personal laptop.
  • Able to work on-site in Stamford once a week.
