Software Engineering Tech Lead or Manager -

This dynamic individual will join this team as a Software Engineering Tech Lead / Manager and will focus on driving out projects and driving operational excellence and automation initiatives within this organization. You'll be responsible for overseeing key projects and processes aimed at enhancing efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of approximately 9 talented individuals to achieve strategic objectives, both offshore and domestic
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
- This is a hands-on role in development and architecture
Must-Have Skills:
- Experience leading a team of Java Software Engineers (formal management with performance reviews not required, but if you have it, it could be a plus)
- Proficiency in Java8, Tomcat, and Hibernate on Amazon Web Services (AWS) utilizing EC2 and RDS
- Strong background in UI development using React or GWT
- Familiarity with Spring Boot, JDBC, ECS, and microservices for upcoming system updates
