Amotec is actively seeking an HVAC Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Drafter! Our client offers a variety of HVAC solutions for commercial and residential industries. The CAD Drafter is responsible for creating detailed HVAC system designs using CAD software. This is a full time 1st shift opportunity and our client offers a competitive hourly pay, bonus and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing accurate technical drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, for HVAC systems.
- Collaborating with engineers and designers to ensure designs meet project requirements and standards.
- Incorporating specifications and design parameters into CAD drawings.
- Generating documentation such as equipment schedules, material lists, and technical specifications.
- Assisting in the coordination of HVAC systems with other building components, such as architectural and structural elements.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends, standards, and best practices related to HVAC design and CAD software.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience with AutoCAD experience required
- 2+ HVAC system design experience
