Job Description

IKO South, Inc. is currently seeking a Store Room Coordinator to join our team of skilled professionals at our Clay Hill, Florida manufacturing plant.


Job Description Summary

One of the key roles of the Inventory Coordinator is to assure that ALL parts are accurately assigned to the appropriate WO, assigned to a specific asset and is documented into MP-2/ Maximo to eliminate falling into the trap of issuing parts without WO s Orders or documentation that can later be traced back to a WO. Allowing Verbal Work Requests from Production, Engineering, Safety, Quality, Maintenance, etc.. The importance of this is to assure that the spare parts department contribute to the overall metric of lowest Maintenance spend per bundle.


Job Description

Inventory Coordinator Daily Activities Perform all duties in strict accordance with the Maximo SOP's/ WI's.

  • Issues and returns.
  • Kitting parts for planned work orders.
  • Reviewing and issuing purchase requisitions thru Maximo auto PR creation.
  • Receiving and putting up parts & materials.
  • Generating and performing inventory cycle counts and tracking KPI with Corrective Actions for misses.
  • Identifying improvements and accuracy for Min/Max levels, especially when Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is solving repetitive problems that extend the life cycle of equipment.
  • General housekeeping and organization (5S) of store room and any satellite stores that exist.
  • Servicing crafts and contractors with parts and materials for daily work orders.
  • Keeping up with routine monthly cycle counts to maintain accurate parts count in the CMMS and Inventory system.
  • Parts organization to simplify location of parts for maintenance improved parts location and accessibility


Help keep the outside Storeroom staging area clear of repairable parts (rotating assets) that have been removed from the machine. Do this by at least once weekly touring the assigned area, and informing the Reliability Engineer. He can inform you specifically what should be done to repair - so you can initiate the proper paperwork for appropriate action and prepping to promptly send out for repair or replacement. As for items being returned back from outside suppliers, confirm that each item received back is in accordance with the drawing or spec, etc. - before their accepting and stocking in the assigned storage location.
