Role Description:


The Logistics Manager will orchestrate the scheduling and management of court reporting assignments, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and timely delivery of services. This role demands a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills who can manage complex schedules, maintain flexibility in a dynamic environment, and respond swiftly to emerging challenges. As a key member of our team, you will lead efforts in recruitment and onboarding, contribute to marketing initiatives, and assist with company expansion projects.


Responsibilities:


Logistics Management

  • Act as a knowledge base for all aspects of court reporting within the company, providing answers and guidance on general queries from court reporters.
  • Provide support on phone queries and assist the scheduling team with day-to-day operations as required.
  • Manage the assignment and scheduling of court reporters, videographers, and other legal resources, ensuring optimal allocation of resources. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and the ability to solve intricate scheduling challenges within tight deadlines.
  • Address after-hour emergencies, reassigning reporters, videographers, and other resources as necessary and ensuring uninterrupted service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to handle challenging coverage scenarios, optimizing resource allocation to meet business needs and maintain service quality


Recruitment, Onboarding, and Development of Court Reporters

  • Lead and assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new court reporters
  • Assist in and manage the recruitment and onboarding processes for court reporters to ensure a seamless integration into the company.
  • Engage with educational institutions as part of a broader recruiting effort, fostering relationships that facilitate recruitment.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on newsletters and outreach to schools for recruitment purposes.
  • Partner with the marketing team to produce newsletters and materials that engage and inform our court reporters.

Expansion/Operations Efforts

  • Contribute to special projects and strategic planning initiatives to support the company's growth objectives and enhance overall operational effectiveness.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve workflow processes to enhance efficiency and productivity, identifying opportunities for automation or streamlining where possible.
  • Contribute to the development of regional and national expansion plans, assessing market opportunities and determining scalability of the business.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics or scheduling management, preferably in court reporting or similar professional services.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proven track record of being a team player, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on client satisfaction and relationship building.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with modern scheduling technologies.
  • Experience in recruitment, particularly in sourcing and onboarding talent, is preferred.
  • Background or understanding of court reporting or legal services preferred.

Work Setting:


  • In-Person at the Atlanta, GA (Chamblee area) Location
  • Given the nature of the court reporting industry, the role requires flexibility to manage occasional after-hour emergencies. Appropriate support and after-hours rotational shifts can be arranged to handle these requests, ensuring a balanced workload.
