You ll be owning the development and execution of the overall maintenance strategy for the plant, maintaining a 3-year plan for maintenance excellence.



You will offer essential technical and operational guidance across all manufacturing and support operations, will hold accountability for the operational capability of the entire operation, focusing on mechanical uptime, mechanical availability, overall operating costs, and OEE of plant operations.



Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Strategize, coordinate, and oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs. Ensure that all equipment/system PMs, calibrations, and repair activities align with safety, quality, and operating procedures and standards.
  • Monitor and report maintenance costs. Review work order schedules and track performance and time for both planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
  • Develop strategies for spare parts management to minimize equipment downtime and inventory costs.
  • Establish and monitor reliability and capability KPIs to enhance OEE and process throughput.
  • Research, plan, and propose equipment modifications to reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and maintain safety and quality standards. Support the design, installation, and startup of new equipment processes, including training plans and resources.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing leadership to develop and implement training and educational programs for autonomous maintenance and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through systematic problem-solving, quality improvement, and lean manufacturing tools.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development in Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles to the plant management team.
