We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our thriving gym. The General Manager will be responsible for leading a team, driving sales, ensuring member satisfaction, and maintaining a positive and motivating environment for both staff and members.
Responsibilities
- Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to all gym staff members, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement strategies to drive membership sales and retention, including marketing initiatives, promotional events, and referral programs.
- Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service is consistently delivered to all members and guests, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
- Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including facility maintenance, equipment upkeep, and cleanliness standards.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, expenses, and revenue goals to ensure the financial success of the gym.
- Staff Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to staff members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Community Engagement: Actively engage with the local community to promote the gym and build relationships with potential members and partners.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in a management role within the fitness industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proven track record of driving sales and achieving business objectives.
- Knowledge of fitness equipment and industry trends.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
