Description
We are seeking assemblers with advanced experience in panel building or working as a licensed electrician to complete advanced daily production builds at our Cortlandt Manor, New York manufacturing facility.
Assembly workers put together custom electrical power distribution, and motor control equipment based of system schematics and process-specification documentation. They use both assemblies manufactured by the company and raw materials. They are expected to install wire harnesses and complete point-to-point main input to branch circuit wiring. Typically, this job involves tasks such as installing, mounting, fastening, aligning, wiring, connecting, soldering, crimping, sanding, painting, gluing, cutting, or shaping various product parts. Air powered, electric powered and hand tools are used in many types of assembly work. At some stations, assemblers may be required to operate automated equipment. An Assembler may work independently, or with other assemblers in groups of 2-6 individuals, to complete production builds as directed by a supervisor or lead.
Requirements
An ideal applicant has the following characteristics, reliability, punctuality, tidiness, and diligence. They must demonstrate a steady work history, with references provided upon request. They should have specific experience in fields such as electronic panel building, automation cabinet wiring, electrical wiring, electronic soldering, and wire termination. Candidates who are certified electricians will be given preference.
Compensation by the hour starting at $25.00 to $27.00/Hour commensurate with qualifications.
This is a Full-time Position.
Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM.
Overtime is available once sufficient training has been completed, or sufficient aptitude is demonstrated.
