The Client:
My client is a self-perform national contractor operating in the Infrastructure, Civil, Healthcare, Municipal, and Federal spaces. They have built projects ranging from small renovations to $200M+ full scale roadways and transportation hubs. They have grown incredibly over the last few years, reaching almost $1B in annual revenue and with that growth, they are expanding their project management team in Detroit There is no travel associated with this role.
The Role/Responsibilities:
Working directly with the general manager for the Detroit division, this role will directly oversee projects and handle processes from preconstruction through completion.
- Participate in bid package review
- Assist in estimating projects based on detailed SOW
- Reach out to local subcontractors and internal self-perform teams to assess costs
- Attend and lead client meetings
- Put together schedules and risk assessments
- Visit job sites for meetings and walkthroughs
- Handle change orders, RFIs, Submittals
- Work with field management to stay up to date on project timeline
- Resolve conflicts between stakeholders
- Communicate consistently with all parties
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience with a general contractor in project management
- Experience in federal, municipal, or infrastructure projects is preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Compensation/Benefits:
- Starting salary of $110,000-$130,000
