Job Description

Requires the inspection and checking of electronics systems and equipment used on production, prototype, engineering test, modified, development, or experimental aircraft. Inspect operational checkout of two or more complex electronic systems. To understand and apply complete knowledge of theory, practice and procedure related to the inspection and operation of aircraft electronic systems. To read and interpret complex blueprints, circuit diagrams, schematics, and other specifications source material. Makes final flight release operational checkout of complete electronics systems where thorough knowledge of electronic theories, inspection procedures, the detailed makeup of the systems and their components and allowable deviations from established specifications is required. Inspects electronics systems (electronic and electro-mechanical) for operational accuracy and dependability , proper installation and alignment, tie-in with related systems and structure, and other specialized requirements, making final determinations as to acceptability for customer of Company reflight. Prepares required inspection records and reports. Orders rejections, adjustments, and rework referencing the reasons therefore.

Must be willing to work any shifts.

Basic Qualifications

Verifiable 4 years hands on flightline experience.

Experience background in troubleshooting,
testing, electrical repair & electrical inspection.

Experience with inspection tools to assess aircraft serviceability.

Experience use of MS office programs.

Desired skills

4 years experience as an avionics inspector or
technician on a flightline or 6 years experience
in general or military aviation maintenance.

Tactical fighter experience (F-16 preferred).

Ability to work with minimal supervision
oversight, proven self starter.

Experience with QADS, SFM, IMS, ITODS.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
