KAYAK Hotels seeks a Junior Counsel to help navigate the fun

world of travel and dining for our latest entrepreneurial endeavor, KAYAK

Hotels.

Based in one of our U.S. offices or fully remote (or a hybrid of in person and

remote work), your role will center on effective scaling and execution of the

legal infrastructure for our KAYAK Hotels project.

Responsibilities include:

Your responsibilities include the following:

? Provide legal support relating to hotel operating matters, permits, licenses, and brand standards

? Provide legal support relating to hotel management agreements, licenses, leases, and ancillary agreements

? Draft and review contracts and agreements related to operations, purchasing, product, engineering, and design in relation to our KAYAK

Hotels business

? Work with Compliance, Privacy, Accounting, Tax and other corporate partners for the rollout and ongoing management of each property along with related product integrations

Experience / Education

? 3+ years of experience in-house or law firm focusing on hospitality, commercial real estate, hotel operations, licensing, permitting, and/or

branding (or expertise in one such area and a strong curiosity about learning the other functional areas)

? J.D. from a nationally or internationally recognized law school

? Licensed attorney in the state of your home office

? Strong communication skills, excellent teammate, approachable, breakthrough thinker, proactive

? Ability to work in a global environment across multiple locations and time zones to bring projects from start to finish

? Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet tight deadlines

? Excellent problem-solving, project management, and time management skills

? Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
