Job Description
We seek a skilled and efficient grouter to join our Tile team. You should help fulfill our tiling requirements. You should know the various types of grouts and the different cleaning techniques used, such as epoxy grouts.
You should provide an appropriate project completion timeline based on our schedule. Besides grouting tiles, you should also clean the area pre and post-installation. To qualify for this job role, you must have good physical fitness and be willing to work under tight deadlines. Effective time management and multitasking skills are also essential.
Responsibilities
- Apply grout between tiles using precision and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings accurately to use specific grout.
- Cleaning and preparing tiling surfaces before grout.
- Grouters must achieve consistent and even grout lines.
- Ensures no tile breakage or other damage during tile preparation before grout.
- Remove excess grout from any surface.
- Do not mix partial units, affecting the product's overall performance.
- Cleaning the grouting area and tools after grout installation
- Undertaking post-grout installation checks
- Collaborate with your colleagues to achieve the daily objectives effectively and efficiently.
- Taking precautions and creating a safe working environment is essential.
- Repair damaged or discolored grout as needed.
- Coordinate with the Quality team to correct any defects promptly.
Requirements- Proven work experience in the Construction industry.
- Familiarity with different types of grout.
- Knowledge of various cleaning techniques or products.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Having an eye for detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of mixing grout to achieve consistent quality.
- Understanding safety precautions when working with epoxy grout materials.
