Job Details
Job Summary: The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner at the DC Jail provides expanded care to patients by exercising independent judgment related to patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and counseling. This position is for regular weekend hours (both daytime and overnight hours available) in the jail infirmary. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, follow established policies and clinical guidelines, and work on a team with nursing and correctional officers.
