As a Restaurant Manager you will oversee front of house operations, working with the management to provide a quality guest experience. To be successful in this role, you ll need excellent people skills, a willingness to learn and experience in an active, fast paced, venue. team, to support high-quality food and drink menus and motivate our teammates to exceed guest expectations


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily Front of the House, Pickleball and Back of the House operations
  • Supervise and evaluate department managers
  • Hire and terminate teammates, with department managers
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
  • Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
  • Oversee staffing levels and Cost of Goods
  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
  • Compliance with all local, city, state and federal Alcohol laws and guidelines
  • Manage restaurant s brand and manage ways to improve it
  • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
  • Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
  • Promote the brand locally through community and restaurant events
  • Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. social media, community relationships, Happy Hour etc)
  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
  • Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
  • Promote continuous skill development through online courses, coaching and training programs



Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full-service, high volume Manager experience
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Knowledge of Food Safety, liquor requirements and quality standards
  • Understanding of and drive for financial accountability
  • Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with an understanding of ingredients and dishes in a restaurant or catering organization.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software, like HotSchedules, Point of Sale and accounting software. Acute financial management skills
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.
  • Perform in an active, fast paced, indoor and outdoor venue, during inclement weather, with flexibility to work during evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Problem solving, computer literacy and decision making skills
  • Food Handler and Liquor Certification
