Our Big 4 client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Delivery and Release Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery and release processes, ensuring the successful deployment of software and products to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of software development lifecycles.


Responsibilities:

Delivery Management:

  • Coordinate and facilitate the delivery of software releases, ensuring alignment with project timelines and customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, and operations, to streamline the delivery process.
  • Identify and mitigate delivery risks, proactively addressing potential issues to prevent delays.

Release Planning:

  • Develop and maintain release plans, considering dependencies, resource availability, and project priorities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define release objectives, scope, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure alignment of release plans with organizational goals and customer requirements.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to guarantee the reliability and stability of releases.
  • Collaborate with testing teams to establish comprehensive testing strategies and methodologies.
  • Monitor and analyze release performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.

Communication and Stakeholder Management:

  • Communicate release schedules, status updates, and potential risks to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Work closely with product owners, project managers, and development teams to ensure a clear understanding of release requirements.
  • Facilitate effective communication between different teams involved in the delivery process.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance the delivery and release management processes.
  • Conduct post-release reviews to gather feedback and implement improvements for future releases.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance delivery practices.


Qualifications:

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with and/or a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member, in planning and execution of projects to deliver technology solutions including the following areas:

  • Agile Methodologies
  • Experience documenting and assisting with budgets / financial management with some guidance.
  • Proficiency in facilitating onboarding resources - work with Procurement (SOWs, MSAs, Change Orders), Third Party Labor, and vendors (OW forms, background checks)
  • Facilitating licensing and renewals as needed
  • Assisting with preparation, tracking, and delivery of Project Status Reports
  • Facilitating release management processes
  • Administering data and access management to SharePoint and VSTS
  • Administering data in Archer, ServiceNow, and RequestIt
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality, discretion, and personal sensitivity in all aspects of the role.
  • Complying with policies and procedures in all aspects of the role
  • Acting as a key resource and liaison to other functional areas of the business, building cross-functional relationships as needed
  • Exposure to Microsoft Suite (Preferred): Azure DevOps, Power Platform, Power Automate
  • Ability to understand data and ETL processes
  • Experience with Alteryx (Preferred)


Education:

  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
