Job Shop is hiring for an Accountant with a family-owned company in Ulmer, SC!
Where: Ulmer, SC
Pay: $35K+ (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday Friday (Day Shift)
Responsibilities for Accountant:
- accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently and accurately using QuickBooks.
- invoices, purchase orders, and payments in a timely manner.
- vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments.
- financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- with other team members to ensure financial data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- with audits and other financial projects as needed.
Requirements:
- degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not required.
- experience 3+ years working as an accountant.
- in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- attention to detail and organizational skills.
- to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- communication and interpersonal skills.
