Job Description:

Enfinity Global is looking for a Head of Procurement, Americas that will be responsible for developing a strategic approach to the corporate procurement and material management process for the purchase of direct and indirect goods and services for PV solar projects and BESS solutions in the United States. In this leadership role, the successful candidate will direct the procurement of the main equipment (PV modules, inverters, trackers, etc.), change and updates other procurement-related activities; develop and/or update procurement policies and procedures; and develop a centralized procurement program that will add value and efficiency to the organization.


Responsibility/Duties:

  • Full compliance with company policies on Procurement, Ethics and HSE management.
  • Define the project procurement strategy with project stakeholders.
  • Develop suppliers based on sourcing strategies, assess potential suppliers. Conduct cost analysis and negotiation to achieve quality assurance and lowest supply chain cost.
  • Lead project RFQ tender process with qualified module suppliers, inverters suppliers and other main equipment vendors, negotiate with the selected supplier about the agreement.
  • Support the project team for negotiating change orders and site claim management.
  • Monitoring supplier performance, preparing an action plan for improvement and organizing business reviews with all major suppliers.
  • Regularly communicate with internal key stakeholders for procurement and contract status.
  • Review cost proposals and actual cost reports from projects to establish standard summary data cost reports and variance analyses. Track and report on cost. Movement during negotiations.


Key Requirements:

  • Engineering degree (preferable).
  • At least 10 years of work experience in Procurement within solar PV industry and internationally.
  • Good knowledge in industrial project procurement and contract management.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and strong organization skills.
  • Project management skills working with large scale solar, wind and/or storage development projects.
  • Working knowledge of the integration between procurement and supply chain systems data.
  • Self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
  • Flexibility and ability to travel.
