Role Overview: As an Associate Product Developer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and refining educational materials that meet the needs of teachers and enhance student learning experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity for teachers who have left the classroom to apply their expertise in a new and impactful way.




Key Responsibilities:

  • Create innovative standards-aligned learning materials for various subjects and grade levels.
  • Contribute to the concept, design, and development of educational products, including digital resources, print materials, interactive tools, and supporting content.
  • Review and evaluate content for accuracy, relevance, and educational effectiveness, making revisions as needed to meet quality standards.
  • Present new product concepts to category management team.
  • Evaluate product samples providing feedback to ensure product meets quality standards.
  • Stay informed about current trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in education to inform product development strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate product development, goals, and timelines are achieved.
  • Conduct customer research, surveys, and panels to gather feedback.
  • Write compelling product copy, create articles, and participate in digital content creation (e.g., videos, podcasts) to support marketing efforts.
  • Assist in organizing and participating in education tradeshows.




Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in education or related field with a minimum of 3 years teaching experience.
  • Teaching experience in K-12 education, preferably with experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional delivery.
  • Strong pedagogical understanding and knowledge of best practices in instruction.
  • Have experience and a deep passion for creating educational materials.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and excellent writing abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, motivated, and self-disciplined with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with educational technology and digital learning tools is a plus.
