Project Manager, Facilities and Operations Capital Projects


Job Details

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our Facilities and Operations team in capital projects across our four health clubs in the Milwaukee area. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of various projects to ensure the smooth operation and enhancement of our facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Facilities and Operations team in planning and executing capital projects across multiple locations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure adherence to them throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to procure necessary materials and services for project implementation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status, milestones achieved, and any deviations from the original plan.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards during project execution.
  • Oversee the quality control and inspection processes to ensure that project deliverables meet established standards and specifications.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the facilities management or construction industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and standards related to construction and facilities management.
  • PMP certification or similar credentials preferred.
