Noelker and Hull is recruiting for an experienced Interior Designer to join our team. This position is for our Chambersburg, Pennsylvania studio.
Job Description:
* Collaborate on architectural and interiors projects, developing client programming needs through conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration
* Manage client expectations and conduct client presentations
* Provide project team coordination for the finish plans, furniture plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction
* Facilitate communications with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies
* Create and manage furniture budgets
* Collaborate within a team environment
Experience:
* 2 year Interior Design Degree
* 5 or more years of interior design experience with an architectural or interior design firm
* NCIDQ certification desired
* Planning experience with healthcare and senior living projects is a plus
* Thorough knowledge of interior building materials and specifications, construction administration and installation, furniture specifications and bid documents, and mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and data coordination
* Working knowledge of lighting design and building codes
* Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills
* Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
