**Job Responsibilities**
The position of Business Care Representative consists of providing phone and email support to business customers utilizing Viasat satellite internet services. This support can encompass both billing and account related inquiries while also providing direct technical troubleshooting with the customer. Duties include:
* Provide phone support to customers and their remote teams who are using Viasat satellite business internet services.
* Perform remote troubleshooting using online Viasat diagnostic tools.
* As part of troubleshooting, determine whether a Viasat technician will need to be dispatched to the site, in addition to coordinating the dispatch with the customer and our fulfillment team.
* Assist customers with rescheduling pre-existing installation or service call orders as well as updating notes and site contact information.
* Provide billing and account related support to customers using Viasat satellite business internet services.
* Billing inquiry related support can include but is not limited to examining invoices, escalating credit and refund requests, updating recurring payment methods and taking payments on past due balances.
* Account related support can include but is not limited to updating contact information, assisting with Self-Care guidance, transitioning account plans, reviewing current and historical usage, and submitting customer directed disconnects.
* Document key aspects of each customer interaction within incident cases
* Monitor and reply to customer email inquiries
* Perform other project related tasks as requested by your supervisor.
**Requirements**
* Proven effective communication skills and ability to interact in a positive, personable manner with a diverse customer population.
* General knowledge of personal computer networking.
* Prior experience setting up or managing a wireless network in a home or office environment.
* Work effectively with team members to provide exceptional support for both internal and external customers
* Great analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
* Excellent time management
* High School Diploma or GED
**Preferences**
* Familiarity or previous experience in a 24/7 call center environment is desired.
* Fluent in Spanish and English in both verbal and written communication (considered a plus!)

The starting salary for this position is $16.02 hourly, but an offered salary may be higher depending on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
