VGI Technology is seeking a qualified applicant(s) to perform wireless Internet installation and service in the West Texas and Marble Falls areas. These positions involve installing and troubleshooting wireless equipment in residential and commercial work environments.
No experience is necessary if able to display a high quality character and work ethic, but the ideal candidate will have formal education or training in wireless and wired networking, routing and computer technology. Equivalent experience in these fields will also be considered in lieu of formal training.
A keen sense of professionalism is absolutely required. The willingness to work long hours when needed and the ability to participate in an on-call schedule for after-hours calls are mandatory as well. Some travel is required.
Job Skills Preferred
Install residential/commercial wireless radios, cabling and home WiFi routers
Climb ladders and work on rooftops for wireless installs
Tower Climbing Certification (if interested in Tower work)
Understand latitude/longitude coordinates necessary for wireless installs
Program Tarana, Ubiquiti and Cambium wireless radios
Adhere to all safety requirements needed to work in the wireless industry
