SUMMARY: Lucky in Love is a ladies active/tennis/golf apparel manufacturing company with a growing print top and bottom business. We are hiring a print textile designer that is proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator to create unique custom prints and has the capacity to manage the process from sampling strike offs all the way through production.

As Textile Print Designer, primary responsibility will be creating all the customized prints for the company. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Reports to the Art Director on creating print concepts and trend boards
  • Recolor/build/create new artwork for specific design categories in knits and wovens
  • Manage existing artwork by saving and packaging projects according to our guidelines
  • Manage day to day function of our color libraries

Present and communicate visually to team patterns and color concepts

Research and report on industry print and art related trend direction, color direction, and technique innovations


QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty, as well as other duties that arise with the growth of the company and his/her responsibilities. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and /or ability required:

Complete understanding of print design and application into apparel end-use

Excellent color sense and up to date on fashion trends. Background in apparel a plus

  • Possess an overwhelming desire to exceed expectations and self-motivate.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented
  • Possess a strong sense of technical knowledge
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities in order to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment

Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop

Knowledge of print techniques such as roller, cylinder, or machine printing, screen printing, and digital sublimation for textile printing


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor Science CAD/textiles design or higher
  • Expertise in Photoshop and proficiency in Illustrator programs a requirement
  • Previous internship or work experience in the design apparel field

Minimum 5 years in Fashion industry designing original print artwork
