Our employees guarantee \n extensive know-how, sustainable project solutions and a high level of customer orientation.\n \n Automotive Software Update Technician <\/b>\n \n Location: 37402, Chattanooga\n \n Automotive Software Update Technician <\/h1>\n Workplace:<\/strong> 37402, Chattanooga\n What to expect:<\/h2>\n \nInstall and configure flash stations for control units according to specified guidelines (Hardware, Software, adapter, tools, label printer, design and build adapters, etc.).<\/li>\nCreate Software update macros and write environmental simulations for part updates.<\/li>\nConduct thorough testing of software updates to validate functionality and performance.<\/li>\nWrite work instructions for software updates and publish them for 3rd party support staff.<\/li>\nCreate and organize mobile kits that can be taken to offsite supplier warehouses.<\/li>\nCoordinate with vehicle project coordinators to ensure flash stations are available and ready for actions when needed at offsite supplier warehouses.<\/li>\nMonitor the software update process to ensure timely and accurate implementation.<\/li>\nAnalyze and assess the capacity of flash stations to meet production demands.<\/li>\nProvide regular updates on station capacity and efficiency to relevant stakeholders.<\/li>\nPropose and implement improvements to optimize the overall update process and increase throughput. Maintain detailed records of software update activities, including configurations, testing results, and issue resolutions.<\/li>\nProvide requested data to support creation of comprehensive reports on station performance, capacity utilization, and update success rates.<\/li>\nEnsure ESD protection requirements are followed. Organize supplies and keep up stock.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n What you bring along:<\/h2>\n \nEnglish fluent - verbal and written<\/li>\nExperience in vehicle electric and electronic (minimum 2 years)<\/li>\nKnowledge in MS office (Excel and PowerPoint)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nPreferred:<\/p>\n\nExperience with Python coding language<\/li>\nAbility to read and understand wire harness diagrams Experience with Automotive Manufacturing Process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n As a Software Update Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of software updates into control units prior to installation in our Chattanooga assembly plant. You will be responsible for setting up and monitoring flash stations, providing valuable insights on capacity and efficiency, as well as analyzing errors and quickly introduce countermeasures.
