Position Overview: We are looking for an Estate Planning Associate Attorney (0-3 years experience) to join our Fredericksburg office. This role offers the opportunity for newly graduated Associates to work alongside experienced attorneys, receiving comprehensive training and mentorship to develop the skills necessary for a successful career in trust and estate law.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with partner-level attorneys to provide high-quality legal services in trust and estate planning and administration.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
- Work effectively within a team environment, contributing to a positive and supportive workplace culture.
- Drafting documents and meeting with clients to sign documents.
- Working toward conducting client seminars and workshops.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Bar admission in Virginia.
- Passion for trust and estate law.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Self-awareness, motivation, and a desire for personal growth.
Software:
- Microsoft office environment (Excel, Outlook, Word)
