**Description**

**The purpose of your role as an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor**

As an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor, you will coordinate purchasing tools, consumables tool pickup and delivery, and tracking of equipment. Supports Warehouse Manager and takes responsibility in their absence. Load and unload trucks, pull new orders, restock tool returns and building maintenance. Assist in coordinating receiving materials, deliveries, documentation and storage.

Shipping and receiving:

* Receive material check freight bill and purchase order against physical shipment for purchase orders, damage, etc.

* Locate and prepare material for shipping

* Pick tool orders for shipment to job sites, restock tools in warehouse, and repair defective tools.

* Inspect shipments to ensure correct order fulfillment.

* Coordinate unloading with crafts and note field stores requisition

* Assist coordinating the delivery and receiving of all tools, equipment and materials that are delivered to various locations.

Inventory Management:

* Ensure all items are warehoused (stored) according to fieldwork procedures and company standards.

* Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.

* Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.

Tool Management:

* Assist recording, monitoring, and tracking all tools and equipment for the tool shop, fabrication shop and jobsites.

* Assist in entering data into computer for all equipment and tools to be charged/rented to individual projects.

Miscellaneous:

* May be requested to make deliveries to job sites as needed

* Assists in the responsibility for company truck fleet maintenance

* Exterior maintenance of building including shoveling snow, spraying weeds, cleaning up debris, etc.

* Move office equipment desks, cabinets, tables, etc.

**What we're looking for in you**

* 4+ years of building maintenance and material

* Knowledge of shipping and receiving activities, craft jurisdiction (on union projects) for off-loading material.

* Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and utilizing inventory management software

* Ability to successfully pass a DOT physical

* Forklift training preferred
