**Description**
**POSITION SUMMARY**
Repair of all types of damage to door units, including doubles, patios, cut-downs, with transoms and/or special hardware.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
* Repair interior and exterior door slabs
* Repair Wood door slabs
* Using of Bondo putty and wood raising techniques to repair all types of doors
* Ability to properly paint and match skin colors
* Prep material for assembly using exact measurements
* Operate several different saws to cut material
* Read work orders to assure the accuracy of assembly
* Make all repairs or adjustments to meet standards for quality as set forth by the company
* Complete the quality product label
* Place all repaired material in the appropriate bin locations, physically and on the scanner
* Conduct all activities in a safe manner, adhering to company safety standards
* Assure proper housekeeping and organization
* Strive to meet team efficiencies for production without compromising quality
* Use power tools for special door prep
* Apply and fit all types of SDL Bars
* Apply special hardware, such as Bommer hinges, spring pivot hinges, multi-point locks, and panic hardware
* Perform other duties as assigned
