**Assembler of Heavy Duty Transit Buses**

**JOB SUMMARY**

Assembly of transit buses at assigned work stations on an assembly line. Performing specialized tasks according to engineering drawings and bills of materials, using hand tools, power tools, production fixtures, computers, technical instruments and other specialized tools and equipment as required.

Assemble, install, and inspect a variety of mechanical and electrical components and assemblies.

May work as member of assembly labor pool group and be assigned different work stations as production needs require or shift from one station to another.

**Requirements**

* Lift up to 70 lbs

* Experience working with hand tools and power tools

* Ability to fully follow work instructions

* Mechanically inclined

* High School Diploma

* Responsible Employment History

* Previous large part, equipment or vehicle assembly is a plus
