What Youll Do:
Champion Safety. Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards.
Operate Equipment. Drive an automobile to transport parts or escort lo-boy. Operate a forklift.
Load and Unload. Load, unload, and stock parts. Assist with physical parts inventory as needed.
Deliver Parts. Perform miscellaneous errands, such as picking up and delivering parts to a job site or shop.
Maintain Vehicle and Work Area. Keep company vehicle clean, polished, and in operating condition. Assist with maintaining and cleaning of parts room and related areas.
Skills Youll Need :
Flexibility. Must be able to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
Communication Skills. Must have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees. Must have solid written communication skills.
Math Skills. Must have basic math skills.
Ready to Drive. Must have a valid drivers license and have excellent driving skills.
