* Responsible for assembling electrical and or mechanical equipment.
* Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, schematics, specifications, work orders, and/or reports
* Layout components per specifications.
* Assembly and installation of and wire components for motor controls and control panels.
* Assemble using wires harness and hand or power tools.
* Terminate and cut wire for panels.
* Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits.
* Verify dimensions of parts to ensure specifications are accurate.
* Review work activities with supervises.
* Adjust or repair electrical equipment as needed.
* Correct defects.
* Fabricate or modify parts, using shop equipment.
* Assemble systems using hand and power tools.
* Observe all safety procedures and policies and use proper protective equipment (especially eye, ear protection and steel toe shoes/boots, gloves, etc.)
* Keep work area clean and organized.
* Report all injuries, near misses and accidents immediately to a supervisor.
* All other duties as assigned.
**Required Skills**
* High school education; or up to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience desired.
* The ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
* Ability to wire and assemble per drawings and schematics.
* General mechanical & electrical skills
* Regularly perform complicated or repetitive operations with limited supervision or direction.
* Attention to detail with the ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
