Summary/ObjectiveThe General Manager is responsible for all aspects of operations at thehotel, to day-to-day staff management and guests. He / She should be anambassador for the brand and your hotel. Provide leadership and strategicplanning to all departments in support of our service culture, maximizedoperations and guest satisfaction.

Essential Functions

1. Oversee the operations functions ofthe hotel daily.

2. Ensure full compliance to Hoteloperating controls, SOP's, policies, procedures and service standards.

3. Handle and complete all guests' concerns immediately.

4. Handling complaints, and oversee theservice recovery procedures.

5. Manage on-going profitability of thehotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.

6. Closely monitor the hotels business reports on a daily basis and take decisions accordingly.

7. Prepare a weekly and monthlyfinancial reporting.

8. Overseeing and managing alldepartments and working closely with department heads on a daily basis

9. Pass and respond to QA / BSA auditsto ensure continual improvement is achievedand property passes per brand standards Audit.

10. Responsible for safeguarding thequality of operations both (internal & external audits).

11. Responsible for Occupational Health& Safety Act, fire regulations and other legal requirements.

SupervisoryResponsibilityOverseeing and managing alldepartments and working closely with department heads on a daily basis and reports to corporate regional director of operations.

Work Environmentthis job operates in a hotel / public environment. This role routinelyuses standard equipment, Ozone machine, fire panel, calculator, scanner,computer systems, phones, micros point of sale system, laptop, chip card reader(credit card machine), vacuum, mop, bucket and fire extinguisher.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularlyrequired to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk,use hands, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms able to lift 30 lbs.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Workthis is a full time salary position with longhours and frequent weekend work.

Travelsome travel needed for brand certification.

Required Education and ExperienceMinimum two year Associate college degree, orHospitality Certification plus 3 years previous role as general manager n the hotelindustry
