**Description**
The Shift Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the responsibilities of the airport services contract and associated team members at the Charlotte airport (CLT). The Shift Supervisor will serve as the on-duty point of contact for CLT during each shift, and will promote an environment of polite, efficient, engaging and diplomatic customer service throughout the performance of all tasks and responsibilities.

**Roles and Responsibilities:**
* Supervise and direct the work of all Customer and Baggage Service Associates on assigned shifts.
* Manage CSA and BSA manpower to ensure adequate staffing on assigned shifts.
* Serve as point person for customers, airport management, and company leaders to alert them to any irregular operations which may impact service to airport customers.
* Be responsible for conducting on the job training and guidance for new HHS Aviation Team Members.
* Observe and enforce all safety/security regulations and company policies.
* Assist with all customer service duties as needed.
* Ensure shift personnel are performing per contract specifications, CLT requirements, etc.
* Respond to dynamic needs within assigned work areas and respond to direction by CLT.
* Monitor team performance and provide coaching as needed to ensure standards are maintained.
* Implement back-up plans if there are call-outs or staffing shortages.
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed to support the safe, secure, efficient and effective operation of the airport.
**Requirements & Qualifications**
* Minimum 3 years of customer service supervisory experience (preference for aviation/airport experience)
* Bachelor's or associates degree is preferred (not required)
* High school diploma / GED required
* Bilingual candidates a plus
* Proficient with Google Suite
* Able to lift 50 lbs, and stand, lift, bend, for extended periods of time
* Must be flexible to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, or irregular shifts
* Must be able to work extended hours on short notice during non-routine operations
* Proven leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Must be able to effectively and efficiently lead, train, coach and mentor front line team members to ensure a high level of execution of requirements at all times.

**Pay:** Starting at $16/hour
**Job Type:** Full-time
**Schedule:** Varying shifts including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
