PRODUCTION CLEANING SPECIALIST - CASA GRANDE, AZ PLANT (NIGHT SHIFT - 6:00PM TO 6:00AM - 12 HOUR ROTATING SCHEDULE)

The Opportunity This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. What You'll Work On - Ensures that assigned areas are properly cleaned using approved cleaning and sanitizing processes. Clean and sanitize processing and production equipment and these areas of the plant according to job standards.
- Cleans and sanitizes food processing equipment and food processing facilities. Operates specialized equipment such as floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, etc. to perform functions of job.
- Prevent cross contamination of product, work-in-progress, food contact surfaces and food contact packaging during sanitation procedures.
- Follow all company Sanitation SOPs for cleaning equipment and facility.
- Perform pre-inspection of clean equipment before requesting supervisor approval.
- Removal of trash/garbage for the facility; mopping as needed, cleaning of floor drains and any exterior areas requiring attention.
- Complete all required sanitation and work order documentation.
- Washes and maintains cleaning carts and tools.
- Maintains all sanitation related equipment including but not limited to automatic floor scrubbers, vacuums, instructions., cleaning equipment and tools.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the sanitation supervisor.
- Keeps the cleaning supplies stocked, on-hand and organized.
- May be asked to work in other areas as needed, if trained.
- You'll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications - High school diploma or GED
Preferred - Previous cleaning experience but no experience is required.
Shift: Please note: This is a 12-hour NIGHT SHIFT position from 6:00PM to 6:00AM and allows you to have every other weekend off. - Week 1: Mon - OFF, Tues - OFF, Wed - 12 hours, Thurs - 12 hours, Fri - OFF, Sat - OFF, Sun - OFF

The base pay for this position is $16.55 - $33.15/hour
