DescriptionUnder the supervision of the Medical Director of UCLA Occupational Health, the physician is responsible for providing care to UCLA employees following occupational injuries. Major duties include:managing patient work-related injuriesdetermining the causation of injuriesconducting disability case reviewsperforming pre-placement physicals and maintenance examsalong with other clinical and administrative duties.The Occupational Health physician will work will be assigned at the UCLA Occupational Health Facility as 8-hour shifts from Monday to Fridays. The incumbent is expected to work and complete cases independently following State of California and Institution approved procedures and guidelines. This role offers 36 patient facing hours and 4 hours of administrative time on a weekly basis.The University of California, Los Angeles is required to provide an estimate of the salary range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Salary offers are determined based on candidate qualifications and experience.
