Build, assemble and maintain machinery for the sale and rental of drilling and grouting Equipment.
PRIMARY/ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Build New Equipment
- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions.
- Use of electrical and hydraulic test equipment in an effective and efficient matter to setup and diagnosis equipment.
- Read production prints, electrical and hydraulic schematics, to produce or repair items as specified.
- Maintain and monitor production equipment, perform routine maintenance, replace worn components required.
- Operate company vehicles
WE SEEK:
- High school diploma or GED, required.
- Familiarity and/or working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic circuitry.
- Strong mechanical understanding of equipment related to electrical and hydraulic components, with specific experience related to: pumps, control valves, transformers, motor contactors, preferred.
- Experience working with engines, preferred.
- Ability to diagnose problems through strong critical analysis and logical thinking, required.
- Familiarity with welding and metal working equipment, preferred.
- Familiarity reading technical drawings related to flow control valve, hydraulic schematics, direct valves, motor symbols, motor contactors, switch symbols, piping and pump assembly, required.
- Proficient in mathematics including: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division without use of a calculator, required.
- Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task, required.
- Must possess good communication skills in being proactive, communicating status, ideas, troubleshooting tasks, required.
- Must possess and maintain in good standing a valid state driver s license, required.
- Ability to operate computer, required.
