Our client is looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to join their team!
Duties/Responsibilities :
- Manage the company s credit card program which includes troubleshooting, mentoring card holders, setting up new cards and processing the monthly expense reports
- Review the weekly vendor payment runs for accuracy
- Act as a liaison between Finance, Purchasing, and other cross functional departments when it comes to purchase order creation
- Review purchases orders for accuracy
- Assist in month-end closing process
- Reviews selected Cost of Goods Sold accounts and provides management with recommendations
- Provides guidance, direction, and is subject matter expert on specific inventory projects.
- Reviews all departmental expenses for accuracy and provides management with insightful observations
- Assists in budget preparation
- Leads variance analysis discussions for selected accounts
- Manage cash controls, banking policies and procedures and ensure the highest level of security and accuracy is maintained.
- Assists with internal audit and annual external audit
- Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Education and Experience:
- BS/BA in accounting, finance, or related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and exposure to enterprise financial systems (Infor/SAP/Oracle).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with management.
