We have a long term relationship with a large refining organization in the Beaumont/Port Arthur that is actively seeking chemical engineers with a background in refining or olefins. This site is a Solomon top quartile refinery that is well maintained and being upgraded constantly. The site also maintains and adequate staffing level so you are not trying to do two jobs at the same time.
- Provide process engineer support to refinery or petrochemical units
- Develop and implement process improvement plants to improve margins and energy efficiency
- Develop a strong technical knowledge of your process area
- Problem solving and troubleshooting of process issues
- Support PSM and turnarounds
- Develop and implement process improvement projects
- Mentor and coach young CHE's
