What You'll Do
- Backend engineering maintaining, designing, and creating APIs and services for use by various web and mobile app clients
- Responsible for both new and existing features and integrations
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience with Python and/or JavaScript
- Experience with AWS - especially S3, AWS Lambda and DynamoDB
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-code, CloudFormation or Terraform
- Extreme attention to detail with regards to code quality
- Experience with the GitHub ecosystem, including creating and reviewing pull requests
- Experience with GraphQL
- Experience creating REST APIs
- Experience working in the Agile methodology
- Must be comfortable from the command line
- Positive attitude and an ability to work well with clients and Experient Group team members
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proven experience in designing complex systems solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Passion for learning and a passion for solving business problems with technology
- A strong record of academic accomplishment and 4-year college degree with a major in a Computer Science related field or significant coursework in Computer Science
- Intellectually curious and communicative
- Strong inclination to create and maintain good documentation
Nice to Have
- AWS AppSync experience
- AWS EventBridge, SQS, SNS
- Github workflows
- TypeScript
- Experience with NPM projects and/or code bundling with tools like Webpack
- or esbuild
- Working knowledge of OpenID Connect
- Experience working with ServiceNow
- General understanding of distributed computing concepts, e.g. CAP theorem
- AWS Certifications
