Laboratory Technician
Department: Specialty Reagents In-Vitro Production
Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our In-Vitro Production team. In this role, you will play a critical role in the production of antibody raw material, ensuring adherence to quality standards and aseptic techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare nutrient supplements and expand cell cultures according to protocols.
- Set up and operate laboratory equipment, including autoclaves, for harvesting and purifying antibody material.
- Monitor and control production processes, maintaining accurate quality control records.
- Work within a controlled environment, following aseptic techniques to prevent microbial contamination.
- Set up equipment parameters based on established procedures (SOPs).
- Utilize Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) for data analysis and reporting.
- Assist technical staff in troubleshooting production issues, recommending solutions, and implementing corrective actions.
- Complete and maintain laboratory worksheets and other quality documentation.
- Verify raw material approvals within SAP system.
Qualifications:
- Vocational training or experience in a manufacturing or laboratory setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to following established procedures and quality control guidelines (FDA, ISO, OSHA compliance).
- Eagerness to learn and develop new laboratory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Availability to work a Tuesday-Saturday schedule.
