About:
Join a dynamic team at an elite AmLaw 100 firm actively seeking a mid-level to senior Debt Finance associate to join their growing practice. The firm serves a diverse range of clients, with more than 900 lawyers across 20 offices around the globe. This opportunity is open to their California (Irvine, Los Angeles, San Francisco) and Texas (Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio) offices.
About the practice:
The firm s Debt Finance practice advises many of the world s leading private credit, private equity and other investment funds, public and private companies and financial institutions to access and deploy capital and restructure debt across borders, industries and asset classes. This is an excellent opportunity to be at the center of precedent-setting, bespoke financings across the full spectrum of capital structures and transactions in the debt finance market.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience
- Substantive experience with a wide range of secured lending matters, including domestic and cross-border acquisitions, restructuring and reorganizations and general corporate finance matters
- Prior experience as a key member of deal teams is preferred
- Exposure to direct lending, special situation financings, out-of-court and in-court restructurings and/or private equity-related corporate finance transactions is helpful
- Excellent writing, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding academic credentials
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice in California or Texas, depending on location of application
