Trade Workers
- Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm, OT on Fridays available
- Starting Pay: $20 - $25 an hour, DOE
- Start Date: As soon as possible
Bonney Staffing has partnered with a client in the Windham Maine area who has several openings for those with a variety of Tradesman skill sets! If you have carpentry, lamination, assembly, fabrication, mechanical, or electrical experience, this employer would love to speak with you!
Open Positions:Quality Assembler: - Assembly and Installation of component parts based on custom blueprints, sketches and spec sheets (Cabinetry, doors, flooring, beds, counters, drawers, hardware, etc..)
- Inspect and undertake repairs as identified during inspection.
- Must be able to use a variety of hand and power tools, including: tape measures, caulking guns, power drills, hammers, etc..
- Completion of all finish work, including: varnishing of wood components, attaching hardware, touch ups, caulking, hanging drapery, cleaning surfaces, etc..
Lamination Specialist - ENTRY LEVEL OPTIONS: - Using fiberglass, gelcoats, and resins to create large custom molds and finishes throughout different phases of the production process.
- Utilizing pressurized pneumatic spray guns and equipment to apply gelcoats and resins to surfaces.
- Fiberglass grinding and cutting.
- Preparing the resins, putties, gelcoats, and catalysts, ensuring the correct ratios and quantities.
- Responsible for smoothing and buffering fiberglass surfaces in the quality / completion phase.
Fabrication Woodworker: - Using raw material to skillfully fabricate all component parts based on custom blueprints and spec sheets. Common component parts include: cabinetry, doors, flooring, beds, counters, and drawers.
- Inspecting and identifying defects and undertaking all repairs
- Must be familiar with and able to use a variety of tools and millwork equipment, including:
- Miter Saws
- Time Savers
- Shapers
- Planers
- Routers
- Jointers
- Scribes
- Hand saws
- Tape Measures
Qualifications: - Hands-on experience working in any of these fields
- Must be incredibly detail oriented
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specs is a plus
- Commitment to following safety protocols
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
- Must be able to work as part of team
- Must be able to stand in one position for several hours
- Great mathematical skills: (Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, whole numbers, fractions and decimals)
