* Train and provide day-to-day direction to the Warehouse team.
* Foster a team mentality to execute daily and weekly objectives.
* Ensure department goals are consistently met while enforcing a safety-first team mentality.
* Assist management with hiring, onboarding, performance management and scheduling.
* Oversee the daily planning and flow of all inbound/outbound products.
* Ensure that the Warehouse team is using safe and proper procedures to operate forklifts and other machinery.
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure an efficient flow.
* Ensure completion of daily shipping/receiving paperwork.
* Facilitate communication across shifts.
* Perform internal warehouse audits and daily safety inspections.
* Own and organize shifts.
* Prepare information and assist in various certification/customer audits.
**Qualifications:**
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* 5 years experience in a warehouse environment.
* Strong leadership, team building, communication, organization, and reporting abilities.
* Knowledge of warehouse practices and procedures including forklift safety, FIFO, workflows, stacking/loading patterns, RF scanners.
* Advanced stand-up and/or sit-down forklift skills.
* Thorough understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
**Our Sumter Site:** The Sumter site is one of SCNs most rapidly growing facilities with state-of-the-art equipment to manufacture our most innovative products. Our Sumter plant is a clean, non-GMO and NSF certified facility. This site is a temperature-controlled facility that uses automation to lessen physical demand of our team.
